Top notch. Private, we never even noticed the attached neighbors. The windows and placement of the dwelling points away from the attached house, so it feels very secluded. Unusually well appointed unit for Cape Cod, which was very much appreciated for out of town travelers. I’ve been visiting Cape Cod my entire life (over 40 years) in the summertime with family and have never had such a great place for the money. Excellent for a stress free romantic or casual visit for two. No complaints at all.

Tara is an amazing host. You can check the house in pictures but the treatment is what I would like to mention. We had 2 kids with us. Tara had gift bags ready for both of them with their names written on those. She also had snacks ready for us as soon as we arrived. Very personal touch. The house is located very conveniently on the beach. You can’t beat the view at this price. Really amazing experience. Would live to stay again.

Excellent value. Definitely got what we paid for and more. The location itself was great, located about a 15 minute walk from the beach, and right off route 6, making it easy to travel from. Also, the host herself was very quick to respond, and gave us helpful information. The host also provided us with a super helpful online guidebook with tips about the house, things to do, places to eat, etc. I thought that it was a wonderful touch. There is nothing I would change about where we stayed, and definitely would recommend this place to a group of 4+ going to Cape Cod!

This was my second time to stay at one of Tara’s properties, and everything was absolutely wonderful! Tara goes above and beyond to create a meaningful experience and peaceful stay. There were little snacks provided as well as travel-sized face lotion, face wash, makeup remover, soap, conditioner, shampoo, a nail file, and a foot mask. Two beach towels were available for use, which is helpful, if you don’t want to bother packing beach towels. :) The Landing was clean and spotless upon arrival and is spacious for 2 - 3 guests. I love this location, as it is a quick drive in either direction, from Chatham to Provincetown. I will absolutely stay here again! Exceptional!

I can’t stress how much our family loved staying in this impeccably beautiful cottage, a few steps from a quiet public beach. Every detail was perfect: from the beautiful decor to the amazing facilities (deck with sea view, barbecue, beach chairs and towels, snacks, games, Tv, great books, ample kitchen equipment, helpful guidebook) plus everything was immaculately clean. Tara was helpful and responsive at all times. A dream Cape Cod weekend.

Book this place now! The house is exactly as pictured and was very clean. The location was ideal for our family as the beach was a 5 minute stroll down at the end of the dead-end street. There was plenty of room for 8 people, especially with the dining table in the screened-in porch and the table and chairs outside on the patio. These outside spaces greatly expand the living space, and the hammock and badminton net were a bonus. Other points include wifi was strong, kitchen well outfitted and beds were comfortable. Tara made herself completely available, and check in and out was easy. We would book the same house again!

We had a wonderful stay at Lotus on the Water. It’s a very special spot. Beautiful. Peaceful. Energizing. So lovely. With welcomed and unusually generous amenities. Special attention to every detail. Our host, Tara, is the perfect Host of Cape Cod. We very much enjoyed our stay, celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was simply the best!

Very accurate listing and a great stay for us. So many little touches that make a difference after a long journey… the snacks upon arrival, the spices, the foil and bathroom products available… the games and outdoor amenities. Would love to go back!

This rental is a gem and I’m so lucky to have found it. The location is perfect—you can spend time away from crowds hanging out and relaxing at the pond in your backyard or you can drive to the public beaches in minutes. The cottage has access to so many things, including a fire pit, a private beach, a canoe, and so much more. Breakfast on the porch overlooking the water was an amazing experience. The hosts are so considerate; everything you can need is at your fingertips! I hope you get to enjoy this place as much as I did!

...As a recent guest at “the Breeze,” I wholeheartedly rate it as the best in the “Heart of Cape Cod”! I am very particular, and I consider the accommodations impeccable. Indeed a super host, Tara responds to any concerns quickly and with efficiency. Moreover, I felt comfortable with her good natured attitude and aim to ensure the highly regarded reputation she has built. Features of renting the cottage here make it the most convenient for hiking, biking, and kayaking. Its location is also ideal for visiting various points of interest. The primary purpose for my trip was privacy and quietness, and the deck of “the Breeze” or the dock by the pond below afforded the most of both; I just wish I could have stayed longer!!

We had such a lovely stay here. The house as perfect and as described. A lot of spacious rooms, and a great game room in the basement! Great location and close by to the beach. Tara was a great host and great with answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend it here.

Wow. Such a beautiful stay at the Lieutenant’s Lodge. This island is something special. We loved feeling all the history in this house. It’s a perfect getaway. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We hope to return for sure. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home.

The Landing is exactly as described - a really spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming place that will be your perfect home away from home for your visit to the beautiful outer Cape. Great location, convenient to all services but quiet and private as well. Right around the corner from the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path, and about a mile and a half away from the Cape Cod National Seashore’s iconic beaches. At night, take in the stars and the beacon from Nauset Lighthouse that washes over the sky. Your hostess, Tara, is immediately responsive with any questions or concerns. A wonderful getaway awaits you!

Clean, roomy, comfortable, dog friendly house in a great area of the Cape; close to the best beaches and great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Tons of space inside, a fantastic deck for outdoor gathering, and a great location convenient to all the Route 6 attractions and beaches. The house was a perfect place to gather on the Cape for a few days with family and friends. Tara was super helpful and remained readily available throughout our stay.
