This spotless two-bedroom apartment is the perfect place to call home while on Cape Cod. Centrally located in beautiful Eastham, directly on Minister’s Pond, the Lotus is within walking distance to the Salt Pond Museum and Visitor Center and hiking trails. Canoe, kayak, or bike – We have everything here!

Look for the Guest Parking sign and the path to the entrance on the LEFT side of the house. The property is large and the Cape has few street lights so it takes a little more effort if arriving after dark. Let us know your arrival time ahead of time and we can make it easier for you.

Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood on the oceanside. So close to everything that it is no wonder our guests rave about our location. We are the best place to call “home” while visiting the Cape.

The backyard is very large and has several flower cutting gardens but is still considered “shared” space even though you may never see anyone else. The dock is shared space if anyone else happens to be around as well.

After enjoying your day at the beach, beachcombing, bike riding, and exploring the Cape come walk down the dock and sit in an Adirondack chair and watch the birds as they swoop over the pond looking for nibbles. Feed the ducks from the dock or watch the geese swim by. Launch the canoe or the kayak we provide to take a tour around the pond and see what wildlife you can spot or if you can catch any fish. Many red tail hawks live here. Watch for turtle heads popping up through the smooth surface of the pond. Wild turkeys often graze through the yard in the mornings as you sit sipping your gourmet coffee on your private porch overlooking the pond.
How about lighting a fire in your private fire pit with the wood we provide? Have a gourmet s’mores party or just enjoy each other’s company by the fire. Take a long, luxurious bath and try some of the spa amenities provided then curl up in a Lotus robe and sprawl out on the comfortable king bed that overlooks the pond and has a view that is magnificent. The second bedroom is extra-large and holds a queen bed and another single bed with a trundle bed underneath. All the beds have high quality sheets, duvets, duvet covers, and all-season comforters.
The full bath has a tub, shower, and shower bar and there is a large outside shower too. There are fluffy Turkish bath towels provided and beach towels as well. The tv is a Roku so you can stream your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or other programs with ease. A washer and dryer is in the apartment too. The private patio houses a new grill and outdoor kitchen area, outdoor dining table, chairs, umbrella, and comfortable and stylish patio lounge furniture. Shared space would be our private dock on the pond if anyone else happens to be around. There is another cottage on the other side of the property (behind a privacy fence) that also has access to the dock. It is our only shared space.

The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority provides a daily general public demand response service called Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART – formerly b-bus) that is a door-to-door, ride by appointment transportation service. This service is available to all Cape Cod residents and visitors for any purpose. DART service is available Monday through Saturday in all 15 Cape towns with limited service on Sunday. The DART does not run on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Patriots’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.CCRTA provides daily bus service, Monday through Saturday, beginning 4:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. from Star Market in Harwich to Stop & Shop in Provincetown and beginning at 6:50 a.m. to 9:10 p.m. from Stop & Shop in Provincetown to Star Market in Harwich. The FLEX route runs an express run with no intermediate stops, from Stop and Shop – Orleans to Patriot’s Square in Dennis on the last run of the day which starts at 8:00 p.m. The Flex picks up and drops off passengers at designated stops and also flexes off its route up to ¾ of a mile to serve people who have difficulty getting to a regular bus stop. Reservations are required for the off route stops. The Flex travels from Route 28 in Harwich, Over Queen Anne to Route 137, to Brewster on Route 6A, down Route 6 through the towns of Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, and Truro to Provincetown. Passengers may board the Flex at any of the scheduled bus stops or they may flag the bus down anywhere along the bus route except along Route 6. The Flex bus connects with the H2O Line at Stop & Shop Orleans, Skaket Corners Orleans, Underground Plaza Orleans and Star Market in Harwich, and in the summer the Provincetown/ North Truro Shuttle at Highland Road, Truro and Stop & Shop. Flex also connects with the Plymouth & Brockton bus service to Boston; at CVS Orleans, Eastham Town Hall, Cobb Library, Truro, Highland Road at 6A Truro, and MacMillan Pier, Provincetown.
