Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that. We highly suggest traveler insurance be purchased to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.

The Surf Shack Hideaway was the perfect home for our cape getaway .
It was exactly as described on the website and the neighborhood was lovely and very peaceful . Listening to the various birds in the backyard every morning was such a treat & my golden doodle loved exploring the marshlands just a few minutes walk from the house . The modern kitchen was nice and well appointed with cookware, pots, pans and a variety of spices , We also loved the decor and the soothing colors in the living room with the sliding doors open letting the fresh breeze and light in . There were an abundance of books to read and games to play , fortunately we had excellent weather so we headed for the beautiful national seashores which are a short drive from the house . I have been coming to the Cape for the past fifty years and this location was absolutely wonderful !
Wonderful Experience!
We had a great few days in Eastham. We absolutely loved the house – beautiful, impeccably clean, comfortable, well-stocked, great layout and fantastic location! Tara was great too, checking in to see if there was anything we needed. Very happy with Heart of Cape Cod.
2 weeks in paradise
What a wonderful experience we had spending 2 precious weeks on the Cape with the surf shack as our home base! Location is perfect to go to so many breathtaking beaches (we bought a beach sticker for the bay beaches in Eastham and used it daily)…
The house was spacious, clean and comfortable with a great kitchen to cook in every night. Friendly neighbors and a lovely little inlet to walk down to, plus fort hill right next door for more great walks. Thank you for everything and making our stay truly memorable.
Perfect getaway
Simply a great time at the Surf Shack! It started with Tara from Heart of Cape Cod. She was very responsive to my inquiry before booking as well as questions I had after we arrived. She told me the only thing we would need to bring is sunscreen and that was the truth! This home has everything you need and more. It was clean, updated, and in a quiet location. The best part of all was being able to bring our dogs along with us. Thanks so much! Can’t wait to return!
